About OHRIN
Open Health Research Ireland Network is a collaborative initiative bringing together researchers, institutions, and advocates to advance open science practices in health research.
What We Do
OHRIN was founded in response to the growing recognition that open science practices are essential for maximizing the impact and integrity of health research. As research becomes increasingly complex and collaborative, the need for transparent, accessible, and reproducible research has never been greater.
Our network emerged from conversations among Irish researchers, funders, and institutions who recognized the need for a coordinated approach to promoting open health research. We bring together diverse perspectives and expertise to address the challenges and opportunities of open science in the Irish context.
Today, OHRIN serves as a hub for knowledge sharing, advocacy, and collaboration, working to embed open research practices across Ireland’s health research ecosystem.
